Default TPM & Tranny

I have a '95 Black Bonny SSE. I've heard that the tranny can be made to shift harder like the performance shift button on the SSEi. Is it true that jumping 2 pins on the TPM can do this? If so, what are the 2 pins and where'* the TPM? Thanks.

Are you talking about the 'performance shift' button on the shift console of some SSEi'*? If you are, JSeabert and I will be swapping switch pods (his 93SSE came without this option, my 93SSEi came with it) to determine if this is possible. Stay tuned.

I think you're right, and that scares me. Not that you're right......I mean what he'* asking. Crod, stick with the performance shift option if it works......safer for your Tranny.

My SSE doesn't have the Performance Shift button. That'* why I'm asking. Where'* the TPM Connector on the '95 SSE?
