Rocker Opinions
I may be getting 4 days off at the end of this month. That means rockers so I can install that 3.3" I won at MAG. I just want to know which ones have seemed to offer the best gains. Is it o.k. to have rockers with stock exaust? The combo i'd be running is, PCM, 1:9 rockers, gutted box, and NGK TR55'* gapped @ .54. Also, would I need to get LS6 springs and OR pushrods? I'm not going to set the PCM to shift at 6200rpm, just 6000. So would I still get valve float without the springs and push rods even if I don't rev above 6K?

Its perfectly fine to run 1.9 rockers with stock exhaust. We have rockers on the SSEi and the Monte and they both have stock exhaust (the SSEi has a removed cat, but its stock otherwise) and both run great. Obviously exhaust work would help it gain more power, but its not required for rockers. Stronger springs are recommended with rockers because the stock springs are weak, but some people have no problem at all, others have huge valve float problems. Pushrods shouldn't be required at all though. We have stock springs in the SSEi and Monte and neither of those get valve float, but the 6k shifts in the SSEi and 5800rpm shifts in the Monte might have something to do with that. You will probably be fine with stock springs, but I can't garuntee anything. My recommendation would be to install the rockers and see how it works out. If it gets float, buy some springs.
Thats my $.02.

I'd hold out on the Harland Sharp rockers till they get the pedistal angle right. (I think that'* what the problem was?)
1.9'* would seem the best way to go though.
Right now I'm running light weight pushrods, LS6 springs, comp retainers, and I'm shifting at 64xx. So, I'd guess LS6 springs + Comp retainers would work just fine for you.
