Default Powdercoating the blower

Im am thinking of fixing up my bonneville, and one thing i thought might look neat is to have a gold blower and maybe valve covers. How would it effect the performance of the car to powdercoat the blower gold, assuming i block off the bottom of it and keep the bolt holes and all of that clean. COuld it stand to get up to about 400 degrees without hurting it or would that warp it?

It will work to trap heat in your */c which will reduce performance. Maybe make a custom cover?

Any coating you apply to the SC, LIM, or Valve Covers will have a detrimental effect on cooling and performance unless you research it very well.

NASA is a good starting point, and that'* no joke.
