so it'* basically attaching a filter at the end of the stock hose, with the stock front assembly screwing into it'* original position? or is it actually using a rice pipe... the last diagram still says hose.

I'm awaiting more people to put the filter over at the fender area and block off a large area from say the strut tower (inner part by engine) straight forward to the radiator support.

i saw it the other night on BC, forget who it was, and which forum it was..
but he cut the left side of the stock front half out and put a piece of plex in between the pcm or whatever was there, and the side of thefront to prevent hot air from getting in .. he used a k&n filter, and some tubing like the intense FWI kit has in it. . but yeah, it was the stock front half, no rice pipe
