Default Just started my exhaust work!

Just ordered a 3" Magnaflow HF cat off ebay, bought my 3" downpipe, 3" HF resonator, and am picking up a like new (yeah, it'* used) Flowmaster 40 Series (2-1/2 inlet with dual 2-1/2 outlets) off a Camaro.
With these and the manifolds coming off my 93 SLE for porting I hope to be able to run the 2.4" pulley with minimal problems.
The piping after the resonator will be the 2.5" piping off my old 97 SSE parts car.
I am probably going to just have stock style turn down tips for the winter, but in the spring I might fall for some SS oval resonated tips like I had on my 1998 SSE.

Anyhow, that'* the update. Wish I could have this all on before the track next weekend but probably won't happen -Anyone want to go to Rock Falls Raceway in late October?

Also, in the spring I am going to swap the Flowmaster out for a Borla ProXS.

Nope -40 series. Not sure which is better -I'm assuming the 80 Series, but for $30 on a like new high flow muffler I couldn't pass (even though I was really planning on either a Magnaflow since it'* a bit quieter or a Borla since they just sound SO awesome).

my understanding was that 40 series were only all single inlet/outlet mufflers, and that all 80 series were transverse mount mufflers

OLBlueEyesBonne where did you get your 3" DP? What type of connection does it have at the EM'*? Does it still have the donut? Or is it have just a gasket and flex?
