Default possible brake upgrade for bonnevilles 92-99

possible brake upgrade for bonnevilles 92-99 ?

As the title explains I have a therory that the front brakes on a bonneville can be upgraded like the
GTP/Regals to 12" rotors and 2 piston calipers from a F-body car

Ok first some background and the questions I need to ask .

1. The 92-99 bonneville front rotors are 10.5 inchs in diameter correct ?
2. The knuckle that holds the caliper and wheel hub on the 92-99 bonneville has the caliper bracket cast on to it ?
3. The lower control arm is stamped steel ?

If you answered yes to all these 3 questions.
Then the 95-96 riviera shares similar suspension/brake parts with the bonneville, now that question is if the part numbers match.
( I am still trying to figure out how to get the part #* for a comparison)
Ok if we have gotten this far please read this Link I got from the RegalGS.org forums.

http://www.regalgs.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22786

As you can see he (rivman2) was able to find out that the rivieras suspension became very similar to the W-Body systems in 97 with 12" rotors.
This proves that I can upgrade my brakes to 2 piston f-body calipers. I am going by pure memory but I think that the bonnevilles brake calipers and
steering knuckels are also the same as the rivs in 95-96. Thus making it possible for you to upgrade as well.
I know that foghorn was doing this reserch but he never completed it .
Anyway let me know what you guys think?

The guy with the Riv and all the questions :?

GMPD shows the Riviera and Bonneville as having different steering knuckles.

The only brake upgrade as far as rotor size that I know of is for the 00+ SE'*, by all accounts they should be able to upgrade to the 12 inch rotors found on the 00+ SLE/SSEi.

I randomly looked at a 96 Bonneville, and of the cars that share the part, the Riviera isnt one of them.

This is my thread on retrofitting '97 Aurora front and rear hardware on my '89 E body. Don't know if any of it applies or not to you guys, but figured I'd post it again anyway

What year grand prix?

Several on this forum run slotted rotors but I don't remeber which company it was.

97-03 GPs, along with a crapload of other cars, come with stock 10.9(lets call it 11) inch rotors stock. Oldsman is talking about upgrading to 11.9(12) inch rotors.

There are many aftermarket rotor applications that will fit the Bonneville fine, as long as it has a 5x115 bolt pattern and is 10.9 inches in diameter, it should work fine. But once again, I believe Oldsman was only referring to upgrading to 12 inch rotors.
