Default Tranny Cooler

Will any aftermarket tranny cooler work. My car allready has one, and i was just planing to mount one in front of the other one. Does it need to be smaller, larger, same size? thanks.

Before your question drops into Oblivion unanswered - do a SEARCH.
I just did what you're describing.
You'll find a LOT of information about this project here.
Good Luck!

I don't want to hijack your thread, but, this information might be something to look at when you do your switchover/add-on.

Since this will be BTT, I'll throw in a question as well:

When we did the add-on cooler, the line from the bottom of the radiator back to the transaxle went to a hose and then the other line into the trans.
The question is whether the longer line, which has a stop for the hose, is supposed to have a straight shot to the end where the hose clamps on, OR, is it supposed to have a 'nipple' for the hose to slip over and the hose clamp fits between the stop and the nipple?
I hope someone understands what I'm saying.
I ordered a replacement line and the guy got the short one.
I needed the longer one FROM the radiator.
He said it did NOT have a 'nipple' on the end, and then printed up a sheet/picture for me to look at.
In the pic, I can't determine if there is a flared end or if it'* straight.
Anybody know? :?:

i'm guessing that it is flaired, if it isn't i'm pretty sure you can get a tool that will flair it for you.
