Hi
Taylor.. where in Mass are you? I'm in Enfield CT and if you are local..we can get together and talk mods. Plus I have a ported LIM that could use polishing if you wanted to see a little more from that.

A 1 to 1.5 % gain in horsepower is a ridiculous figure. Power doesnt come in a bottle. Unless thats a nitrous bottle.

hmm really? thats funny. well theres a dyno video to prove it. Royal Purple Independent Videos click on the LS1 video and watch how changing you liquids gains you horsepower... Power does come from bottles. just have to choose the right one. im expecting a 3-5 hp increase from changing my liquids plus my K&N Air filter/oil filter so im shooting for 10 hp gain... i know in the LS1 engines its a very high horsepower gain and i doubt i will get a 9 hp gain... but just to show you power can come from bottles !!!!

In that video they swapped out every fluid from the engine to the rearend. And for that amount of money came up with 8 Hp. Again, I state ridiculous. 8 Hp is an insignificant amount that might shave one or two 10th'* of a second off a quatermile. In a world where people are ambitious enough to actually mechanically alter their engines and seeing real results, 8Hp is laughable. Sorry, I dont want to come off as rude but so many members here do real things to their motors for me to have any respect for a complete fluids change change thats nets a whooping 8 Hp. I quess we each have a different view of what power gain means.

no we dont, i was just saying that changing your liquids can inprove your hp and you said its a ridiculous figure to get a 1 to 1.5 % gain in horsepower when in actuality its possible... and not only does it *** hp but it help on tourque curve, fuel mileage and helps your engine last longer than most other fluids.. i had to change my fluids anyways so i used royal purple.. i think that you thought i changed it all just because i wanted more horse power lol no. it was time to change it anyways, so you might as well do it right. trust me i do REAL things to my motors, just not my daily driver that has 190,000 miles on it
