Whichever seal you can see or check by doing the above mentioned, presumably the FWD servo?

Hey, so if raising the pressure fixes it, how much longer do you figure I could keep driving this car in the event that I do have a bad seal, with slightly raised line pressure?

Could it be nothing more than a clogged fluid filter?

I would think the filter was new when the trans/engine was installed...no? I don't do any installs w/o fresh filters and fluids.

On that fwd servo.. your subframe might be in the way. I was under a 98 Regal last night and that cover isn't coming off in that subframe without a plasma cutter or some movement of something large.

Good to know.

The filter isn't new. The gasket isn't new and is leaking. The guy who did the job just tightened the bolts and put new fluid in. Not sure why, since its only $10 or so, but that'* what it is. Just wondering if it could be a possibility. If that'* the case, I'll be a happy camper and I can take my time finding a manual. For now, my raised line pressure is a bandaid till I do find a manual trans. Going to the junkyards on Saturday to look for one.
