Default trans temp gauge install

Finally got the time today to install my trans temp gauge. Grabbed power, ground and dimmer switch feature from stereo harness. ran 18 gauge wire to the sending unit through rubber grommet in the firewall for the shift cable. busted out the 2" hole saw hooked it up and viola we have a reading.

I would like to note though I had to modify the sending unit a wee bit. if you look down the pressure test port you remove the plug from by where the shift linkage is to install the sender you will notice theres a lip of some sorts. for what ever reason that lip is just a touch smaller in circumference than at the top of the port so you get to do some ghetto high speed machining that is, bust out the dremel and grind the sender down a bit, i took off maybe 2-3mils. if it was not for that one minor detail which is a 5min fix it would have taken me less than an hour.

At any rate, here it is.
