Tranny Shift Kits and the PCM
Can someone tell me about the transmission shift kits and how those differ from the PCM changes.
i know the PCM is all computer and the tranny kit changes physical points, but how do they work together and should i get one before the other? i plan on getting both.
thanks

I run both. I had the shift pak long before a pcm was available and I have not noticed any problems with the combination other than I had Scott lighten up the 1-2 shift as it was pretty hard at WOT and I was a little leary of snapping the input shaft.

I also have both and the shift kit way before PCM was available. Not really worried, the 1-2 shift is nice and firm but not really worried about it, the 2-3 is still a little soft in my opinon but don't want to push it either. I'm assuming I got Todd'* programming basicly and any other +00 will get the same too for the Standard programing.
