Thanks to DrJay (I think?) for finding the link, and to Damemorder for trying the first one. Took out the MAF support tonight, and polished things up a bit.

Before and after from the front:

Before and after from the rear:

Did this at work. LONG endmill on a Bridgport Mill, cleanum with a Dremel and by hand, then cleaned it all up in an Ultrasonic cleaner. It makes quite a difference visibly.

We'll find out

Not sure there were any kinks. Damemorder put his stocker back on and still had the same problem.

Intriguing....Are the MAF tables in the PCM able to read that high of a flow that this mod yeilds?

Here'* how it works.....the MAF isn't reading any higher. I didn't modify the MAF port (that little hole).

So there'* more air? What will happen is that I'll run lean for a bit....too much air, not enough fuel. Then the O2 sensor will realize the lean condition, and richen it up. It'll figure it all out and re-learn rather quickly. I'm only looking at 10-15% flow increase at best, I'd bet.

More. Better than before. Especially since I'm going with a smaller pulley on the SC.

Are there certain mods that need to be done before doing this do you think? Or should anyone be able to do it?
