Symptoms of KR?
Yesterday after 335 miles I noticed a small lag in performance. Does that mean I have KR? What are the symtoms of KR? I know it can reduce performance, but can you actually hear the knock if it gets bad enough?

If you hear the knocking or pinging you have a problem. With KR, you don't hear anything, because it prevents knock. It just pulls timing. You probably won't feel it too much if you have KR. I don't notice it, and I am getting some, as shown from scans.
You could feel a drop in performance because of a hot engine or supercharger. What is that called, heat soak?

I don't think you would be able to hear KR.. if it pre-detonating that bad that you can hear it in your cabin.. I think it would've blown something or damaged your engine by then. KR could definitely affect your performance.. but so does the climate. My car gets really peppy when driving thru foggy nites and morning ( guess it'* due to the humidity getting into the combustion chamber, cooling down the temp slightly and cleaning slightly in there that it doesn't pull any KR at all?
Does it do at all peddle depression? WOT and all? Has it gotten better? When was the last time you filled up or going to? Some places will sell bad gas that kills performance.. and sometimes even the good reliable sources too.. if they just had a fuel delivery done less then 24 hrs ago.. the water and sludge would be mixing and floating all over the place instead of settling down
I think the only reliable source for KR is to actually scan it in realtime
