Hey about all the unhappy people with superchips...I called them up directly cuz the store near me screwed up the ecm code and superchips sent me the chip that matched my ecm code. I noticed a huge difference right away. Better throttle response all around. I bet i got at least 20 HP. Out of all the mods I have done, the superchip was the only mod I could tell made a difference just by the feel of the car. I am very happy with my superchip.

Like hector knows and I know a custom deal can be done but the big boys need to make money and the series 1 has a very small market within a small market.

Sooooo If you want a chip done I (because I was searching for another caddy chip guy) can get you one. The cost will be almost double (200) 375.00-400 but you can have it set to your needs. So instead of just being a upgrade on the current unit it can be a full custom order for performance add ons so you get the benefit of the performance parts you have added.

Hector is a builder so it is hard to get a hold of him. All builders are hard to get a hold of. Alas this is why there are Stores ME... Call me anytime and most times ill answer and E-mail me and the longest you will wait is a day. Maybe two depending on your problem.

There are a lot of builders that try both and some hire there family and that works but the big builders that make money sell there product to Stores and have the store do the advertising this way they don’t have to answer mail.

Ty
Exactly! Very well put Ty, and custom chips are better since you get what you want, not more generic specs.

So Ty, what is the turn around time on a chip like that? I am VERY interested in something like that. Also, is there a "list" of everything that is/can be set on the chip? There was another thread here somewhere talking about dumping the boost down to 8psi under "excessive drivetrain abuse". Just wondering what else it could be doing that might be able to be "fixed".

Hmm...So Jet discontinued the chip I ordered and got last week? hehe. I ordered the stage 2 chip from Jet Chips and its been installed for the last week and I like it. Not entirely sure on if its worth the bang for the buck but I definately feel the difference. Not noticing anything different with the trans but its a LOT smoother and faster at high speeds, 55+mph. This is from Jetchip.com TODAY, check it out.

But they don't have anything for a '95 - '96 listed. There were '93 - '94 listed but didn't check on '97+.

Jet is really iffy now. Pretty much say screw everyone else it seems. I am sure Jet sold it to you because they have a much much higher price. Compare it to the price on the ADTR Bonneville Store and you will see what I mean.

Ok I have called all my connections and I have a few verbal solutions. I am waiting on a yes no prob I can do what I said I could do. I have a price range as said before it will be around 375.400.00. I have people with caddies who have a no limit on there cash expenditures who are driving my computer connections and I am using this to push availability on the Bonneville series 1. Otherwise I would have received a go away response. Anything series 2 3.8L should go with DHP.
