very true Don, I still believe that there is issues with the tuning of the car with the turbo
I am a little off topic here... But that engine is a stock LN3 attached to a stock THM440-T4 transmission.. The Caddy 4.1 and 4.5'* that used that trans had a beefier torque converter.. Early on in the life of the THM440-T4 Caddilliac found that they were destroying torque converters behind the Caddy v8'*... They Later corrected that for the Caddy V8'*... The 3800'* kept the regular converter... Keep in mind that there were changes to the transmissions over the years, but they were cahnges more along the lines of durability as opposed to HP and Torque..
Ever notice the first SC'd 3800'* were attached to the 4T60-E HD? Same goes for the 91 4.9 Caddy engine it too was attached to that trans..
In the end I think it would be easier to swap in a 93-99 powertrain( supercharged )... At least that way you can have everything you need to do the swap... and you will be able to use the larger Axles and newer mounts, and even then do we know if the 89 Bonnie has the provision for the Torque Axis Mount? We know the 90 does... And I think the 91 will too as it used the new parts just like the 91 Park Avenues and 92 Bonnevilles...
