Motor mounts
Well I was gonna get motor mounts today and theyre charging me 120 for labor and 150 for the mounts ... aparently all 4 are shot (my brother told me that a year ago when i first got the bonny (love at first sight) that the mounts were rotted) so i wanted to know is 270 too much for motor mounts i already payed in advanced so they could buy parts and tomorrow im leaving the bonny after court (5% tints and a tail light was out fixed it) and hes lending my a stick shift nissan altima rashed from both sides. I drove it today what a piece of trash lol. So yeah is it a good price?

Dunno.. I forget what year your car is.
Please put your year and model into your signature. Then we'll know easy and quick if things fit and if it'* a good deal.
Overall, I'd say that'* a good deal. If they've never done a rear trans mount, they'll regret it afterwards.

$150.00 is what i paid for all four on Rock auto, compared to the 320.00 they wanted from the dealership and 360.00 they wanted from an alignement shop. so 150 for parts is a pretty sweet deal. i was told anywhere from 200-280 for installation, so if your getting away with mounts and installation for only 270 i'd go for it. that is if you trust the mechanics.

This is because the rear mount is sandwiched between the subframe and power steering rack. Then add on that the 3 bolts holding it to the rear of the trans are a little difficult to get at. When I say a little difficult... most would have lots of trouble.

They got 2 guys working on it now... I think they're saying the 3 inch downpipe is disturbing the clearance to take the last mount out its the rear right one now they're saying the 3 inch DP is too big and the motor won't lift to get the lst mount off and the mechanic is cursing and saying profanities poor guy it makes me feel guilty cause its so cheap 120 for labor but he'* been on this for 4 and a half hours I think he'* almost done he'* unscrewing the DP

Whoops dumb phone sorry for multiple posts... well all that trouble for nothing it turns out the problem he had all this time was unbloting 2 bolts from the rack now he finished and repleaced the final mount its cool inside it says GM anyways now its to have evrything put back on then I see if the car still surges I really hope its been the mounts that were bad and not the tranny
