Default Stock T-stat

I was just wondering what the stock t-stat is on a 1992 bonneville sse because I installed a 180 t-stat and ever since, it doesnt run well at all. I took it to a local shop and they said I should switch back and that the Temp gauge is running 15 degrees over the actual temp

At least half the cars here are running fine on 180'*, and some are even drilled. Still no problems, even in winter. Personally, I'd look elsewhere for your problem.

Define 'not running right'.
