I need some good advice
Me recently getting a job is letting me think about the furture and what my car needs. Yet, me being only 16, i haven't been exposed to these type of decitions before.
My first is what type of tires should I buy. I have one brand new tire on my car one fair and the two rear are damn near bald. All of them are Michelens and I've got about 50,000 miles out of the three which are old, which I think is ok, but not great. I would like to know what type you guys have on your car, how much they were, and if you've been pleased with them.
My second question is getting a new muffler. I know what type of tips I want but don't really know about the muffler. I've been only considering a Flowmaster 80 series but I don't know if there is a better one out there and what I should pay for it. I really want my car to sound like it has a blown V8 in it. Got any ideas and/or sudgestions on what to buy and how much it would be?
Thanks a lot! Any info would be great. This has been stressing me out and I need to lay some of my plans out for the future.

Well, the best way to sound like a blown-v8 is of course a blown V8. I believe someone has sounds clips of the various mufflers, and although they all sound mean, none come close to a blown V8. But IMO the flowmaster is the loudest.
Others can help with the tires, I do not know too much about those.

I'd say the flowmaster would be the closest to that sound. Magnaflow is a little gargly, and dynomax is different.
Tires!!! Get them all the same ASAP. Atleast tires in pairs are ok, IE front are the same, and rear are the same. Michy Pilot sports are nice, Nitto are supposed to be a great price for the performance, and wren swears by his Toyo Proxis T'* ( i think that'* them....)
I'm planning on getting new tires this summer, and it'* either Nitto, or The Pilot Sport or Pilot sport A/*.

John, wait until the west meet for the exhaust. You'll be able to compare some cars that way. I'm trying to set something up for the meet with my exhaust guy, too
As far as tires, you live in the NW like I do. Go to Les Schwab, and look at the Toyo Proxes TPT. Directional tread. Awesome tire, but get them siped before they put them on your car. It'* very cheap to do, won't invalidate your warranty, and will help alot with grip.

Is the muffler that would fit my car the first one on the list?
