Default S2 L67 injectors on S2 L36? (or other options?)

Anyone know if S2 L67 injectors (36 lb/hr, IIRC) can be swapped into a S2 L36 (22 lb/hr stock, IIRC)?

If so, does there need to be any alteration to fuel rail, FPR, fuel pump, etc?

If not, what easily swapped in injector (or fuel pressure regulation?) options are there for a S2 L36 that might need upwards of 26-28 lb/hr fueling?

IIRC, the design of the injectors were different or was that the injector bosses?

Why? You can't be even close to possibly out-flowing your injectors. And if you're not, there is no benefit whatsoever.

Would you believe I predicted this answer nearly word for word
(And wouldn't you know it, I've got some data...)

According to what I've logged in scans and info obtained from various fora as far as flow rates of stock injectors, duty cycles vs. IPW vs. rpm on the L36, etc., here'* where I am:

Stock: WOT max duty cycle 75% (IPW ~15.9 at ~5500 rpm)
PLIM: WOT max duty cycle 78% (IPW ~16.6 at ~5500 rpm)
PLIM+PEM: WOT max duty cycle 84% (IPW ~18.5 at ~5500 rpm)
PLIM+PEM+TB: WOT max duty cycle 91% (IPW ~20.2 at ~5500 rpm)

I still have rockers, springs, some possible headwork, and maybe some UIM mods to go.
At this rate, I predict I'll need 26-28 lbs/hr minimum to keep up, probably more to maintain a comfortable margin.

So, getting back to my questions...what are my options?

97-99 should use the same wiring connectors. You can just swap in L67 injectors. Obviously you will need to change the PCM code for them or use an AFC or some other way to control the extra fuel.

00 or 01 started a change in the injector harness between L36 and L67 I think.

I ran L67 injectors on my l36. They fit no problem. They were pre 00 though.
I have been wondering for a while if the series 1 L67 injectors would physically fit.
Anyone know?
That would be a good option.

Sounds like you need Series 1 L67 injectors, not S2.

But there'* nothing wrong with him installing S2 injectors and scaling them back, is there? IMHO, that'* what I would do.

Or, you could find some of the 25# injectors ZZP used to sell... I think they might be from the Camaro/Firebird.... not sure though. That'* what I'm currently running on my car.
