Windows any ideas
Ok i need my windows tinted but im not sure what to do. I found a place that will do all the windows for $235.00. I havn't done it myself before but am thinking about trying it because it would save so much money. If anyone has done it or tryed it and has any tips on what kind to use and the best way of putting it up let me know.
thanks
thanks

Damn right. It'* a PITA. I'm old, and I STILL don't have that kind of patience. It'* well worth paying for it, and that sounds like a great price. Make sure the tinting place has a good reputation. Those little extra details the GOOD guys give you are well worth it. You have to look very closely at mine to see that it'* not factory tint.

Tint is not easy to install
if your friend has a ricer - practice on thers first.
any thing over $200.00 is two much. look around some more,
Ill bet you can get a better price.
I found a couple of guys at $175.
it seems to me its worth that kind of money to not have to hastle with it.

I got mine done for $172 (taxes included). Its a bit darker then factory specs, but it looks OK.
35% fronts and 20% back, and I agree, anything over $200...is to much. If you are interested have a look at Bonneville pics in my Yahoo folder, it will give you an idea on what my tinting looks like.
Good luck

Paper towels can put micro-scratches on the tint film. You'll need to be careful about your selection of window cleaner, too. Some types have chemicals that can damage the film. Your installer will give you specific cleaning instructions.
