Default ssei 3" downpipe?

Anyone have any sources for a 3" downpipe (either with hi-flow cat or off road--without cat) for a 2002' ssei?

you will have to go to the exahust shop and have them make you a Mandrel bent pipe....the GP DP will not fit the Bonnevilles

You have a 2.5" exaust pipe. You don't need bigger unless you have a XPZ cam and other multi thousand dollar mods.

all the restriction in a 00+ SSEi exhaust is in the downpipe/cat and manifolds.. by enlargening / smoothing the flow through these items you can greatly reduce knock retard, even with a stock engine

Yes, it look ,but the inside is really smaller.

A 3" downpipe will greatly help.

Yeap..Go with a 3" DP into a Hiflo Cat, and then from the cat back, just keep it stock. After the hiflo, its pointless to mod the rest of the exhaust unless you want a different sound.

Very true you cant gain anything by changing the mufflers, even the Fastest Bonnevilles run the stock Mufflers
