B&M SHIFTER INSTALL
well guys, i installed my B&M shifter today
took a little bit to do it, but i ended up fitting the stock cable to the shifter.
the cable they sent was 5' long and ended up being too short. i used my old console to mount it into, but had to remove the boot and a small piece in the back. all in all, it turned out pretty well. took it for a test drive and worked like a charm. god i love a ratchet shifter
ill take a few pics tomorrow and post them. with the 2 step/line lock button **** too

it doesnt change the way it shifts, what it does for racing, is it doesnt allow you to overshift . just rather it back in to low, and when your shift light comes on, just slap the shifter forward, it goes only one gear then when the shift light comes on again, slap the shifter forward again. i have seen many and have done it a few times myself, that is when the heart is raing as fast as the car is, you just might shift into neutral. not a good thing to do

ok guys, i had to remove part of the shifter slot in the console and remove the boot too. i used the existing cable after a little modification to the mounting clip. please ignore the dirt inside the car. god i cant wait till spring and no more freak'n snow
i still need to figure out a boot or maybe a felt to cover the inside and finish the back part where i had to cut it out, but trust me, it works great :P
