Fiero SSEI?
Alright, I know this has been discussed before and I myself have seen one run 12s. Yet, I am very curious as to what transmission they are using, also, does anyone know how much it would cost to do the full converstion. I am thinking buying a S2 Supercharged Motor and dropping it into a fiero. Right now I have the opportunity to buy a S2 for very cheap, and a Fiero for very cheap. So, what do you guys think?

There is also an adapter to hook up the original Fiero manual trans (with extensive beefing up) from what I've read -don't know if this is true, but if it is that would be one fun manual shifting L67 toy.

There are two 5 speeds that bolt up like a 4t60/65. One'* Bullet proof, ones good enough.
The bullet proof one isn't "rebuildable" because Tremec didn't release the parts. However they'll redo it for you.

Man, these people deal with some major amounts of money here. This is no simple task at all. I think I will be waiting a while to ever do one of these. Yet, I was amazed to find you can put a MANUAL tranny in our cars!!!!!!! That install was insane as well though. Looks like Im stuck with an auto:(

It really does suck to have a car that was never offered with a manual...because then it is a lot of work to swap one in. I can swap a 5 speed into my STE fairly easily and for WELL under $1000, but that never happens on an L67 powered car. It can be done though, and thats all that matters.

- Fieros are Awsome! I have a Uncle that has a turbocharged northstar in a '88 GT Fastback! There is nothing like the sound of a V8 with a turbo let alone in a Fiero!
- As for trans, they beef up the 5-speed manual (if they have it) or use the 4-speed auto. Just search the internet you can't miss them fiero guys. They have made a Series X swap basically plug and play! I know with the series 3 they have even gottin the tapshift and electronic throttle to work.
- The fastest Fiero with a series X swap, keeping the M90 as the poweradder is running a 11.5x at like 118 with 60 ft'* dipping into the 1.5x'*.
