Rereading your thread Paul.. my KR is completely different than yours. Mine appears to be false and is only at very gentle (maintain current speed) throttle. Yours seems to be into the rpm while accelerating...am I right?
Recently 1993 SLE mentioned a post he found on 3800Pro about too much fuel at rpm causing KR.
While it'* possible.. you really need to get some scans and have data to review. Also.. if that'* the case..I'd suggest signing up at Conngp.net and downloading the Scan Log Formatter that the site owner created. It'* an awesome tool for reviewing and considering changes to your tune. Good graphs etc that show your fueling and KR trends, and spikes..coupled to your MAF readings and many other items.

First, you have DEX in your trans?
Secondly, how can you monitor KR to determine if it'* a knock sensor if the knock sensors are disconnected?
I would try to isolate this to the front or rear bank first. By disconnecting one at a time. See if it'* a front or rear issue and go from there. I suggested this to Boosty a couple times as a possible troubleshooting step to narrow it down.
I wouldn't rule out the trans as a possible source of false knock. Have you considered the false knock kit?
What about your lack of EGR? You could still have a combustion temp issue. Not much you can do about it now, considering how well your SC EGR stovepipe is blocked.
But an EGT gauge may be an interesting thing to look into.

Good Lord Paul, get a scan of what'* going on with your car. You have an AutoTap, use it, it can even show you the Knock Sensor count...I have no idea why you're so reluctant to do a scan.
Cheers,

My Auto Tap is a piece of crap
When I used it last it set off my security system.
I even sent it back to AutoTap and they checked it as being OK.
It says it doesn't recognise my VIN code 4 out of 5 attempts to log on.
It freezes up.
Dexron you old fool and I could monitor ignition timing.
Funny thing is Boosty, it is more when the engine is lugging before it kicks down that the KR goes huge.
Does the aeroforce monitor injector duty cycle.....hmmm
Maybe I'll have to break down and try the AutoTap again.......

Stop being an old fart and pull out your old Tandy computer with the Autotap.
You don't know if the Aeroforce does IPW'*....lol C'mon old man... you know it does.
Lugging before shifting is high engine load. That'* where you are likely to see KR.

I was being facetious about the aeoforce. I have checked that already and everything appears good by that gauge.
Lugging and Knock go together, I know that, so as soon as my tank gets close to empty I'll try some ultra high octane as a test.
