Default Next Mod.

Im kinda stuck on what to do for my next performance mod.
so far i have a CAI, 3.5 Pulley, PCM Tune, Downpipe and Powerlog

i dont plan on getting headers and i dont want to get a cam.

What other little mods that wont cost me more then 300 dollars can i get to get some horsepower or throttle response?

You can install a set of 1.9:1 roller rockers. Upgrading the springs would also be a good idea. That should fit in your budget. It'* about a 5 or 6 hour job.

ive been cosidering them, but i dont know if i could install them myself. Plus if your lookin at zzps prices your lookin at like 375 for the rockers, springs and retainers.

Isnt there anything cheaper, i was considering a ported and machined lower intake, their only a 100 bucks, would i feel any difference with that or is there a different mod thats better and cheaper then 300?

Don't think you will see much difference with a ported LIM at this point. Try Emailing Billboost about rockers. Sometimes he has a set laying around, or at least knows where there is a set.

what about a shift kit dan? there only 30 dollars.

I already have the tuned pcm that makes it shift harder so i wonder if i there will be any gain

also will it make my trans weaker? im always worried about my transmission

A shift kit will be a good mod. This is only my opinion here, I've installed a few of those $30 shift kits in cars. They do a OK job. I installed a street/strip kit from intense and feel it'* a much better kit. But you pay a much higher price for it. It won't hurt your trans, in fact they tend to help because the shifts are faster so the bands and clutches wear less.

Your trans should be fine. They hold up pretty good. If your putting down over 300HP then it'* time to start looking at upgrades.
