Hey Everyone,

What do you think about those Tornado fans things that you can put in your car that are to supposedly make your car faster and perform better ? Does anyone have one ? If so how does it perform ? Or is it a waste of money ?

I know 2 people who swear by them, but it'll only do you good if you're NA. Kinda pointless for the blown models. Being somewhat the technical type, I can understand the benefits of directing the incoming air in that manner. I think the product my friends have is the Vornado. I'd definitely do an intake mod/k&n, etc also, if you haven't already.

I personally never did it, 'cuz I wasn't willing to spend sixty bucks on a gamble.

You are right it does sound like a gamble. I am skeptical to spend the money on it if it'* not gonna work.

That first link you posted in the last reply makes alot of sense to me. I put a Throttle Body spacer on my 94 Suburban and saw a profound improvement. Knowing the intake design of that TBI system, the Vornado or Tornado device would be of benefit.......Port injection like we all have kinda makes that moot. We have members removing MAF screens and seeing a benefit, I'd hate to see someone stick something else back in! Those with SC would definitely be shooting themselves in the foot.
