ASG v8 Video
No this is not a 1/4-mile run but it is footage of the stage 1 and 2. I think it makes the point needed when considering the option. I also believe with a centrifugal sc added this engine is well worth it. I know there are a few in the gp forums also interested in this but I don’t have time to post so if someone could share they will have something new to argue about. Lol just go to domestic performance and look up asg or look under Bonneville or gp in the engine & drivtrain section. Then at the bottom of the write up there is a “webpage” link that link will load the video. Enjoy
After watching this vid you will understand why I want an ASG stage 2 . Even if the engine maxes out at 500hp it will be what I want in my 92 project.

Yes there is a video. You have to click on the v8 picture on the store when you click on the picture at the bottom of the info that comes up is a underlined word "webpage" . Click that link and a real audio file will upload and you can use your real audio to watch it.

Actually the kit includes installation so you send your car away and it comes back done and serviceable. Instant hp. there is a turbo option too but it is a mute point unless you buy the engine.

I have had some ideas about AWD that I think would be intersting.
As far as I know GM does not have any kind of AWD drivetrain that could go in the bonnes but some other makes do.
The Mitsibuishi(sp????) 3000GT VR-4 was AWD with a transverse motor. The last year these cars were made they were pushing 325 HP through all four wheels with twin turbos and a 6-speed manual.
I know this sounds like complete blasphemy but I think it would be a hell of a drivetrain. The drivetrain from the 3000GT is the only car I can think of that is a transverse set up and puts out the kind of power we would want. Getting 500 plus HP out of the Twin Turbo 3.0 in the 3000GT would not be too difficult as it already has a large aftermarket following.
The AWD 3000 was a very heavy car, just over 4000 lbs, and in its last year had a top speed over 140 mph and ran mid 13'* in the quarter i think.
