Default Thinking about Exhaust

I am thinking of installing 2 glasspacks ( cherry bombs ) in place of the stock mufflers. I am running a cherrybomb as a resonator already.

How loud do you think it would be? (has stock pipes, 2.5" and L67)

Thanks guys,
Paul

I think you'd lose too much backpressure, and it would be extrordinarily loud.

I see where you are going.

I am kinda short on funds right now, but I want to get the exhaust done asap.
I was wondering if I could just get like one "real" muffler and have it splitting to the 2 tailipipes instead of having 2 mufflers at double the cost.

Can anyone suggest a good muffler that will provide: deep sound aswell as performance that isn't too expensive.

if you drive a grand prix, like your signature says, you could do a cat back kit reasonably priced. on ebay there are dynomax kits, dual mufflers, the works for around $300 i believe. i also believe dbtk2 is running 2 magnaflows on his grand prix, and i believe he said he got them for $45 a piece.

good luck!

Most of us use the F-body (camaro/firebird) single-inlet, dual outlet muffler. Same configuration as the stock muffler.

It should be, but most performance mufflers are shorter. Your stock piping will need to be extended for the inlet and outlets. Not a big deal, though. It will fit in the stock location, but take up less room.
