Porting the TB isn't possible (at least in the extremes I did it) on a SC car without running an AFC controller, which I refuse to do. I will be installing a more mildly ported TB soon.

The hybrid SC has not been built yet. It'* still sitting in it'* OEM state (as in 2 superchargers sitting here to be morphed). Must straighten out the TB problem first. Even with the walbro pump and flowmatched injectors, I'm still running slightly lean on the top end, and getting the resulting KR.

The ported EM'* and lower intake manifold were all potentially good things, but the ported lower intake and SC will have to wait until I give the green light. I believe my only problem is the TB, but I'm not sure.

Keep in mind on cold mornings when the PCM is running enriched, this thing has INSANE amounts of power. Easily 50hp more than it went down with.

So you would suggest the em'* and other small mods..but not going crazy on the top end?

Port match the lower intake manifold, but not until I can get a 'stage 1' TB installed and confirm my suspicions.

The problem with the portmatched LIM manifold is that I increased flow potential to each cylinder by 20%. Despite reducing the temp of the boost charge by porting the outlet of the SC, I may have raised my cylinder pressures slightly. This can result in a higher effective compression, that I may have to use taller head gaskets to combat.

I just don't know yet.

So you aren't recommending porting the sc outlet yet. I was thinking about starting work on my spare casing soon.

Green light on the SC. That will only effect outlet temps. And can only help.

Blend, don't enlarge. Foghorn and I have both done this, so it'* M62/M90 proven.

Hey JamesCurtis there is a guy on here and on other forums (sc3800fiero) out there that is running Series 1 with a 100/125 wet shot of N20 and is running a low 12 / high 11 ET. IIRC the only other mods he has are CAI, plugs, t-stat, etc. - nothing big like heads/cam.

Imagine, we are like 2 time heavier than the fiero, im not suprised if he can get low 13'* just with a 3.4 pulley (if its serie 2, dont know for the serie 1 what size it is)

Does anyone have pictures of hopped up S1 engines internals & externals & buildup threads & dyno sheets? I'd be interested in seeing them
