Default Stability Control-how do you adjust or disable?

Anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity of (or disable ) the the Stability Control on GM cars? My dashboard keeps showing "Sability Engaged " on my 2002 Eldorado. When I'm pushing it a little bit in *-turns .
There is no off switch that I am aware of.

you could unplug whatever fuse powers the stability control but its usually tied to abs so you will loose abs and get a light constantly but it wont do anything to the engine or brakes

I may have to do that while racing.

looking in the service manual for that all the stability control inputs go to the ebcm(brake control module). there are 3 inputs 2 always hot and 1 keyed fuse, i think i would try that first, its 10a in the underhood fuse block labeled "abs"

I wouldn't recommend this idea. The steering and suspension is tied into the Ebcm as well. A lot more than a Abs light will be on.

You can also unplug something specific to the stability control only. On Bonnevilles, this is usually the steering wheel position sensor in the column or yaw sensor (easiest in this referenced application) in the back deck, between the rear speakers. The only concern would be if the caddy works differently, or uses the yaw sensor to judge suspension as well. This also allows abs and traction control to stay online. You would just have a nag message. As was also mentioned, if you pull the abs fuse, you should get a sea of warning lights, but also complete control.

i wouldnt think you would want abs or traction control racing either. doing timed runs on my monte its 10.3ish on and nanny off is 7.5s 0-60. big difference
