Default SeaFoam vs GM Top Cleaner

Ok,

I've read the thread about the 2, but I'm still kinda confused.
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=17556

I've got a few questions....

1.Which one is better? (might be a difficult question).
2.What are the differences between the two?
3.Can I use either on my NA 91? (which should I use)
4.Can I use either on my SC 97? (which should I use)
5.Should you do an oil change after both of them, or just the GM Top Cleaner?
6.Where can I get Seafoam? I tried NAPA and Canadian Tire, no luck.

Thanks

the good part about the Seafoam is that if you can find it, you can get multiple cans and clean different things. It can be used as a gas additive, oil additive, intake cleaner and lots. If you cant find one it sounds like you are stuck with the GM one. I checked the bottle of Seafoam that we have and it is O2 safe, so that isnt a problem. I dont think anyone has tried both of them, I bet both will work on your cars. It is probably a good idea to change the oil on both, you dont want the crud that it flushed out to clog an oil passage.

Hey alll,
Looks like this summer, my job will be at a local Advance Auto Parts. We have lots of Sea Foam bottles in stock. I think i'll buy one and try it. I tried the GM Top cleaner in my NA bonnie and i didn't see any noticeable improvement. i think i'lll do the sea foam thing this weekend and tell everyone what that does. Since seafoam goes in everywhere i think the fair thing to do is just to do it the same way I did the top engine cleaner (i.e. feed it through the engine intake).
