You want the Camaro/Firebird/TransAm Crossflow muffler. Just like yours, those mufllers have an inlet and outlet on one end, and an outlet on the other end. It'* a near-direct replacement with much better flow. You need 2.5" inlets and outlets.
The rest of your exhaust is all 2.5" mandrel-bent stainless steel. Keep it. You'll lose low-end if you open it up. Keep the stock resonator, and upgrade your catalytic converter to a 2.5"x2.5" high-flow cat with rear O2 bung.
There are only 2 or 3 cars on this Forum that have pushed perfromance to the point that they need more drastic changes.

The differences are slight, but the Magnaflow outflows and produces slightly more horsepower than the Flowmaster. You have to pick your own sound that you want. I greatly prefer Magnaflow'* sound, particularly with the resonator I have (also a Magnaflow).
Don't rely on recordings or videos. You need to make your decision by listening to cars with the components you're interested in.
I find Magnaflow to be less of a growl, and more of a grumble at the lower rpm'*. Then it wakes up.

I have a huuuummonnggoouusss dent in my exhaust, the shop said they will replace it w/ the cost of my muffler...is it good just to go with that? They aren't opening it up any, just restoring the original diameter throughout since the dent is about 8 inches long and a good 1/2 inch inward
