Anybody know how to remove the pcm from a 95 ssei?
hey hows everybody doing I was going to be purchasing a superchip for my ssei, but i need a code off of a chip that is already in my car. Does anybody know anything about the removal of the pcm? Or how good this chip is the manufacturer says ill get and extra 30 hp. Can somebody help me thanks.

If it is an ebay type chip, then yea, it will only work for a short time. If it is an actual PCM chip from superchip, you can pull the info off your PCM. The PCM is located on the drivers side fender inside the engine bay. Look under the brake resevoir.
It should only be a couple screws and a few electrical connections to disconnect the unit. I have never cracked it open to replace the chip itself (if that'* what is needed). All the info and nubers needed should be printed on the outside of the case though.
