Default 1.95 RR ls1 springs headers 3.8 pulley

Okay so since i finally converted my 4t65 to HD ima do the headers this tuesday i cant wait theyre charging me 200 to install... they are SSAC and i would try to do it myself but i have a zzp 3 inch downpipe. First question it wont weld to the zzp down pipe huh? I went to 5 different places to see how long it would take to install 1.95rr and they all say they have to take the heads off and put the things in like that cause of the springs... so question number 2 is since the heads will be off what things can i buy to make the engine a bit stronger/ what should i buy for the valve train? should i get new valves? can i buy stronger bolts anything you can think of that can be installed to benefit performance and engine strength while the heads are out. Now theyre charging me 600 for the rr / srping istall to me it sounds like ALOT is this reasonable? im dying to do it already to finally finish all the mods ive wanted when its all done im slapping a 3.8 on my gen V and praying this thing doesnt blow lol. THANKS guys i know i bother ima have to buy beers for the usual guys that always answer

Hold up there Tex.. Where are you located. Surely we can find someone near you that knows how to work on our cars.

The header price probably doesn't include all the dinkin around of connecting it to the exhaust. You need to consider that before you jump in to do it.

On the rockers and springs. Springs get changed with the heads on the car if you know what you are doing. Pretty sure Dan has a write up on it already. You use a hand crank tool and air to pressurize the cylinder. It'* probably a 4 hour job. No heads need to come off. Screw that... sideways!

the tool is cheap..and all you need is an air compressor. Now..if we don't have someone here that'* near you, I'm on more than one forum and know folks all over. Probably can hook you up wtih someone to do it for less and with less problems. Heads mean new head bolts etc etc. There'* no need for that nonsense.

Taking off the heads to do springs is like jumpin out a window when you can see the stairs.
