For just rockers you'll need just basic hand tools.
If you're doing springs as well you'll need a spring compressor, a compression tester is handy to have as well to push the crank.
I still need to de-mod the 98 and re-install into the 99....

That could work out. Especially with the next 2 weekends I'm probably gonna be in Mankato/St. Peter chasing Hot Air Balloons for 2 separate rally'*. But I'm not sure how the time thing would work out. But I would imagine in the evening I'd be able to swing it easy.

Dude, thats sweet! Never heard of that kind of competition though, especially in winter. Anyways, that would be awsome if this works out. Looks like Andrew gets a 24 pack as well.

The listed price is for a set of 12, however there are a lot of people (not necessarily in the 3800 community) that run split ratio rockers, for instance 1.6'* on the exhaust and 1.8'* on the intake or something like that. In fact I believe there are split ratio rockers for the N/A 3800'*. There is nothing wrong with running split ratio, you just can't run 6 on one side of the engine and 6 on the other, you have to run 6 of the same on the intake and then 6 of the same on the exhaust. In fact, I will be running 1.6'* on my intake and 1.5'* on my exhaust pretty soon on my STE.
