Default noob needs help with mods

i got a 03 ssei about 2 months ago and so far i have a 3.3 pulley, 180 stat, CAI, took out the cat and resignator and pt in a straight pipe, and ngk tr55 plugs. i want to do lots of mods to it but i still want it to be a daily driver. was i was told from others is to get a intercooler, new cams, and i was gonna get a programer for my pcm instead of sending it in to get programed. does anyone have any suggestions on what i could get to make it faster but still be a good daily driver. i am looking at zzp for all my mods. they seem to have everything i would need. i saw that there are a couple different kind of cams. are they different brands or are they different stages of performance? i need all the help i can get. i want to make my bonni faster then all the ricers.

ZZP has some good stuff, but be advised that for PCM'*, INTENSE own'* all for the Bonnevilles. Check out www.intense-racing.com for more info. They're widely respected in our community. Cams from ZZP or INTENSE are largely similar to the best of my knowledge, as are rockers and intercoolers. Pick your poison, but do compare them side-by-side.

As far as your Cat delete is concerned, were you aware, that I can get a 'finder'* fee' simply for turning you in? It'* a Federal Regulation in the US (regardless of State) that you run one. Any shop that puts you up on a lift is in for some cash if they report you. I can tell you that you gained no more performance than you would have from a hi-flow Cat, and my preference is to do the right and legal thing (wherever possible). You may want to reconsider that one.

Back on to the real stuff, with a Cam, you'll want to look seriously at your intake and exhaust. Either PEM'* or Headers for sure.

Youve only had your car for two months and got all thos mods already,
sounds like you got a serious case of the mod bug going on there scooby !
what kind of ricers do they got in your town ? with the mods that your runing ricers shouldn't stand a chance against you
you are going to get some KR with that small a pulley and your curent mods, so Im
with Will your going to need some headers and a high flo cat, and it seems like you got money to burn so don't mess around and get some TOGS !
Than save up your money till you can do a cam intercooler springs Double roller timing chain
pushrods roller rockers maybe some head work done ? but I would do it all at the same time! .
At least thats the way I would do it

Having no catalytic converter, doesnt that take away from your want of a fast daily driver. I would think that your car is very loud and that you have thrown some kinda of code(*) to cause a check engine light. I wouldnt worry about some one turning you in as much as I'd worry about if you have a Check engine light on that your computer has put your car into a caution/safety mode and that hurts your performance.

When My cat hollowed out ( somehow.. no doubt from swimin ) it never threw a SES light.. just failed emission.. shakin @ low RPM.. but hi RPM well.. thats difference there too

EDIT: Mustafa is right though.. a hi flo cat will be better choice as the scavangin affect won't be that bad and you won't get low RPM stumble like I did

I ran my bonneville without a converter for quite some time. It did give more power, but every time you come to a stop it will throw the check engine light for lean emissions and I had a huge problem frying o2 sensors. I would go with a hi flow cat also.

I picked up my 2k in February, got the Intense Level three kit, and ran a 14.05 about a month after that....I am really happy with the quality of their kit, and customer service. Just my 2 cents.

A custom programmer for your PCM will really do great things for you. ZZP, among other places, is a distributor of the DHP PowerTuner, and it is quite a powerful tool. Look on ClubGP for more information about them, because a lot of people over there use them. If you are going to be modding a lot more in the future, this will be very helpful.
