thinner head gaskets

thinner head gaskets
had anyone here tried thinner head gaskets to increase compression ratio on naturally aspirated models... and if so what where the effets???

Won't be felt. I'm guessing you saw the ones which are .005" thinner than stock, on Intense'* website?
A full point increase in compression would only yield 10-15hp. A full point is like going from 8:1 to 9:1 Compression. That little gasket I think makes it increase 1/10 or so. So that would be like 8:1 to 8.1:1.
If you NEED new head gaskets, and these are the same price as the stockers, go for it. Otherwise, it isn't worth it.
