Seeing as how he worked for them I tend to trust his opinion.
Speaking about my own experience with zzp tuning my PCM, I ran 14.4 ET with a stock PCM and 14.7 AFTER their tune. I sent it back to them to give them a second chance at re-tuning and never got the car back to the original PCM performance without other mods to the car. For this reason alone, unless you are doing serious mods to your car, I recommend leaving your stock PCM alone or try a different vendor that knows what they are doing. When I asked zzp why their their programming was hurting my performance, the first time they half-heartedly thought they accidentally programmed my PCM for a GP? I'm not sure what their excuse would be the second time around, but once bitten, twice shy. I don't think a PCM re-flash alone will improve performance (and might actually hurt) unless you are supporting some serious mods, in which case a custom re-flash would be needed to match the mods. I recommend doing your research and decide on your own who you will trust to do your PCM should you choose to do so. IMO - if you use zzp, you are merely making a $100 donation to their pocketbook.
