Does anyone have a repro PCM? I was looking
at the GrandPrix store and they seem really
nice. I emailed them to see if the GTP PCM
would work or if they can point me in the
direction of who may be able to help. I'll
let everyone know what they respond.

Try http://www.asechips.com I have a 2000 SSEi and they reprogrammed my PCM. The only thing is you have to send them your PCM. Here'* their ph# 714-632-9344 You can also try http://www.superchips.com http://www.hypertech-inc.com The Grand Prix PCM won't work.

Well they said they have no plans currently on making repro PCM'* for the Bonneville. The thing I liked about their setup was it upped the shift points, altered timing and fuel curves, and upped the speed limiter but only if you had the performance shift button on. I will check out the places you have listed now.

DHP PCM'*?
I am currently running my own DHP Beta code in my 1996 Bonneville. In case you guys are unfamilar with me, I am one of the tuners that have been doing custom tunes on cars like Scott Cook'* 12 second 2000 SSEi, and ZZP'* CSC 1997 GTP.
My 42 mph 2-1 downshifts and 5,900 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts make for tons of FUN on the street. No speed limiter and fans on at 185 degrees! This car is FUN as is and will stomp my buddy'* 2000 STS with NO PROBLEM from the launch, and on the freeway.
My Bonneville is a DAILY driver and NOT considered by me to be MY FAST CAR. Consequently the 1996 PCM I am developing will be for STANDARD mods like 3.4 pulleys, 180 T Stats, ETC. My car makes about 225hp at the wheels with only a 3.4 pulley and NO PCM tuning. Also I intend upon retaining the 4T60E transmission as they have proven reliable with my older 3800 Supercharged cars. Yes the differential is weaker but limit the BURNOUTS and she'll live fine!
I'll be tuning my SSEi to run 14.40'* in the 1/4 mile as this is competitive to cars like M-B E430 and Audi A6 4.2 cars.
These cars are not as HEAVY as we think!

Hey Dave,
Are those PCM'* getting any closer? I finally got my car to the track and it turned a 14.9. That was fully loaded street trim. Once I get the DHP pcm I wil go back out and pull the weight out to run. I think I could've gotten a 14.7 if I would've taken the headlight out and the standard spare and car seats and what not. I wanted to see what it ran like though as it is driven on the street.

Shift points REALLY Helped as I wasn't hitting 3rd gear in the 1/4 mile.
E-mail me at dave@buckshaw.com to talk PCMS.
Actually better the my 89 1/2 LX 5.0 Knotchback was 10 years ago though!
