from what i've heard, you can somewhat port out the factory ones...just go to a junk yard and buy a set off a wrecked car. i think there'* a how-to somewhere around here that explains it.

I would agree. Get another set and port them out. I'm sure I can make a write up next week on that when it'* not 400* below zero.

Do some research on the 94 manifolds. They are actually ported very well from the factory.

94 and 94 only.......or am i thinking of the 93

PM 'blownville' he has a 94 and will tell you about the factory 1994 manifolds

the front and rear manifolds on the series 1 motors are just like the rear manifold on the series 2 motor. they are a tubular design but they are welded on the inside. so you need to find someone who can weld them on the outside around each primary and they have to be careful not to heat them up too much or they will warp the manifold flange. after they are welded you need an air grinder or something that you can put a grinding bit in and grind out the welds on the inside of the primaries and smooth it out. hope this helps.
