Are the NGK TR55'* one heat range colder plugs? I'm going to start getting ready for the 3.4".

Does gapping them at .55 help create a better spark?

Only thing I can think of is that the spark doesnt have to jump as far and is stronger. :?

Would this apply with autolites too? or does the manufacturer really matter on something like this.

Would it be better to gap all plugs at .055? I gapped mine at .060 when i last did my plugs. Next time i do my plugs i will do the NGK'* with a .055 gap.

If you are looking for a comparison, I just installed a 3.4 with Autolite 104'* (2 ranges colder) gapped at .050.

I haven't experienced any KR or ignition problems.
