Quiet performance muffler...Possible????
Is there a such thing as a performance exhaust that is nice and quiet? I dont mean like stock quiet I just meen like a nice low soft burble and a little louder when getting on it.
Any SER2 L67 guys having any experiance with this would be great, since I am used to the raucious SER1 L67 (modded) and its roar from the back scream from the front sound any time the throttle is pressed. Im new to the SER2 game here so any suggestions as to how to make quiet power would be GREAT!
Thanks

I guess a glasspack will help quiet it down.
But in a nutshell ... a performance exhaust, is a loud exhaust.
I am keeping my stock mufflers for that reason. I don't like it loud.

My exhaust guy was originally going to install a glasspack backwards in my car (no factory resonator in 92 or 93, so I had some rasp from my Magnaflow setup). He got creative and was actually able to fit in a 24" Magnaflow resonator by cutting off the flanges. I have some pics of how tight the fit is, but the point is that it mellowed out the tone IMMENSELY. I used to turn heads driving around town, and the Woodburn runs on Video were amazing loud when driverjohn and I ran side by side. Now it only 'comes to life' when the CAR comes to life.
I'm glad I added a resonator, and this is why Jason suggests keeping yours.
