I did a search and found mostly guys with superchargers telling their quarter mile times. What about the guys with Normally Aspirated engines, what kind of times and trap speeds have you run??

Eep :? i don't know if my N/A could even handle the track...but Blk_Bonneville ran a 16.87 or something in his 90 SSE.
The only way I'd race my car, is if I had my cam magnet fixed, and an intake done. So, its possible..maybe next summer..we'll see
I think Turtle may have taken his monster 92 SSE to the track

The fastest Bonneville (bone stock keep in mind) is the SE supercharged...no extra trim of the SSE and it has a Supercharger...

Two weeks ago I ran a 15.1 @ 93 mph on the G-tech Pro my friend has.
Since then I have switched gas stations and noticed an increase in mileage and power. High 14'* maybe (14.9-15.0)????
My current mods are:
Taylor 8mm Spiro-Pro wires
NGK V-power plugs
180 * T-stat
Magnaflow Wide-Open muffler 3" inlet - dual 2.5" outlets
Cold air intake
removed MAF screen from throttle body
JB radiator cool (water pump lubricant -supposed to cool 1-2* and double the life of the pump)
always run 92+ octane
I have a superchip, but need to install it but once I do, that'll probably shave another 1-2/10'* of a second off. Also, when I go to the real drag strip the first Friday in June, I'll be stripping my trunk and interior of about 250-300 lbs. Hopefully I'll be seeing mid 9'* (Grove Creek is only 1/8 mile, but calculate 1.55 x the e.t. and that is supposed to be what the 1/4 e.t. would be).
Hopefully, by the end of the summer I'll be running some giggly gas with ported intake and exhaust manifolds and who know'* what else (something involving higher compression levels)
Would be sweet to see 13'* on the board when I hit Rock Falls in September.

I did it in my 1994 SLE.
Even before I did the intake and muffler I was pulling almost even against my friend in his identical (except he has the Series II 3800) 1995 SLE. At the time I had 175k and he had 178k. Currently we are both at 181K on the odometer. Now with the mods He has a little jump, but within about 150 feet I start pulling on him and by the time we get about 1/8 mile I have him by a couple car lengths (2-3) and by the time I hit 1/4 mile he has really fallen way back (about 6-8 car lengths).
With the better airflow in my car I have Alot more power in the high rpms. I finally got my cousin to race me in his 1996 Buick Riviera with the 240hp Series I SC'ed 3800 with only the K&N drop-in I gave him.
He really whooped me on the jump with his traction control on, but once I hit about 30 mph he stops pulling on me and I do actually start catching up to him. From 60-80 I actually inch ahead of him, but very slowly -that'* why I say "inching ahead".
After seeing the time that was posted by the guy with the bone stock white 2003 SSEi (15.1) I am guessing the G-tech is off and I probably am more in the 15.3 - 15.4 range, and once I have stripped the car and have some better tires I will probably be down in the 15. flat range.
When I talked to the Mike Demoss at Forward Motion Inc. about racing my Lebaron he told me that for every 10 lbs you strip from your car it is the equivilent to gaining 1hp with out stripping.
So if I can strip 300 lbs (easy since I have about 80 lbs of stereo equipment alone and have stripped 257 lbs not counting stereo equipment from my old 1992 SE) I figure realistically it would probably be like gaining 20-25 hp by losing the weight.
I can't wait to hit Grove Creek www.grovecreek.com in June, by which time I'll have my superchip in, and at least some MSD coils and maybe the stage II throttle body.
