97 and the FWI dilema
97'* have a slight issue when looking to do an FWI. The problem is what to do with the PCM. The pcm tray for the 98+'* does not fit the 97 pcm. There are a few things that are available, velcro, tying it to other things in the engine bay. I took a different approach.
A pcm in the NE will get very oxidzied quickly when it'* not in the PCM box. I came up with another solution when thinking of an FWI. Takes a while and some work...
Evap canister was also retained.
Final pics to come.

More pics..no.
I took that chunk out, then JB Welded (you should buy stock in them) pieces in to keep it covered and clean.

Great Job... I am glad you dropped the whole stock look deal. How does the car feel between gutted Airbox and FWI. (Taking note of your dying transmission)

I'm in the middle of my install as well. Taking it slower though. I don't have to contend with the PCM, but I do have the double waster bottle for the headlamp washers.

Cody...nothing says an NA motor won't breath better with an FWI.
Feeling wise...can't tell... it'* raining and I haven't driven around much. It is a lot louder though.
Single bottle...poof...problem solved.
A different angle before I got the pcm cover on.
