you would have traction problems like crazy even if the tranny would hold.

Bad idea.

yeah i'm sure if you didn't beef up the tranny it would just blow up but it still pretty neat i think. someone has to figure out how to make our couputers accept other transmissions like for us 4t60-e series 2 guys. This just gives me hope i guess.

Dont out trannys (L67 guys) hold up to 275 lbs tq stock, and with the mods some of us are pushing out surely there is a 300+ lbs tq Bonne out there with out any tranny problems the LT1 Camaro motor doesnt have much more than that stock heck the Camaro SS LT-1s had 335 lbs tq. Heck the Automatic Z-28s used the 4L60E tranny in RWD form stock. I estimate around 290-300 lbs tq from my 111k mile engine and my trannys all original too, I have no problems!!

You underestimate the power of the general!!!
But traction would be a different story

Yeah, good point. But that leaves you not being able to mod at all. I wouldn't do too well with that... :P

Unless you bought the "BulletProof" tranny..........but thats alot of work to get not much more power than a SER 2 Supercharged motor with a few mods would put out. Id rather do the opposite and put an L67 in a Camaro!!!!! Lighter weight and tunability, that would make one SWEET ride! My friend wants to put an L67 in an S10 im all for it

Que?? This is the same principle as modding a 4-banger versus modding a 6. You'll get much more hp and tq for your buck with an LT1 than an L67. Much easier to get to 400hp with an LT1 than an L67.

SC'd 3800 in a Fiero, or like-weighed chassis is about right.

Camaro chassis is still a bit heavy, IMHO.
