yes, it is shifted a bit.. however jshelton used a GP one in his Bonnie and it worked. I'm not sure how much the exhaust likes the extra angle though.

If the exit is shifted a bit, wouldn't it be impossible to line up the downpipe if a Bonnie used the W-body manifold?

Are the 98 manifolds identical to the 2000+'*?

When I purchased PEMS from W body store, they had to change my order to accomidate for a 97 H Body, I belive there is an option there now. To the best of my understanding as well, that is the only option..

Well I'm still gathering information, but I was originally thinking of a Plog from ZZP then getting the rear manifold ported by another company. I'm also tossing around the idea of getting my entire set from the 98 ported/coated.

Something tells me I'll just go for broke again and pick up a set of pacesetters. They are tempting, but that $110 for ceramic coating always makes me click the back button.

I'd like to add my 2 cents.... If you are debating headers vs ported manis now just go right to the headers. Trust me you will be happy if you do. I watched a few people in the 3800 community do PEMs then get headers like Billboost37 and I learned my lesson through them.

I have a set of 98 H-body manis & 04 w-body manis I've been meaning to have welded in my shop and ported by my myself. If your interested in the 98 manis I'm sure I could beat whatever the w-body store or another vendor would charge for some PEMs(minus a true ceramic coating.)

Yeah I hear ya Ed.

I'll probably start watching forums for used headers I suppose. "Used" and "Headers" in the same sentence scared me a bit though, but if I can save some pennies that would rock.
