Rear Brakes.......... Drum To Disc swap??
Hi, I have a 95 Olds LSS with rear drums, I want rear discs.
Is this possible? I know the riviera and park ave ultra 97+ had rear discs, but the rear suspension'* also very different.. i can't find a car that just bolts right up, did any of the bonnevilles have a disc setup i could take off? regal GS? .. aurora ..?
I'm lost on this one, but I've had 3 LSS'* and every time i've said, damnit.. why no 4wheel disc, i swear its why the people never bought them lol.
not mine, identical twin however.

There are no GM cars or trucks that have rear disc that will bolt right up.
There have been many topics on this subject. Simply searching for 'rear disc' and limit your search to the Performance and Brainstorming section should yeild alot of conversations, questions, answers, and theories.

All of the above, I want to put nicer wheels with an open center on the car - i don't want to see drum brakes behind sport wheels, i also think i may see a little less nosedive if they're properly done, even though nosedive ain't so bad - i trust the car to stop fast - i just wish i had a little more control over the amount of nosedive..

The nosedive will be unchanged with rear discs. You'll need stiffer front coil springs to change that, but your ride quality will suffer.
