Default Went back to the track today and got new PB!

Good racing conditions today with temperatures of aboyt 20*C or 68F* with a slight wind on the tail. Lots of fast cars there and they were spraying the track for traction. My first run went like this;

R/T: .352
60 Ft: 2.191
1/8ths: 9.323
1/4: 14.404
MPH: 97.822

I then took the spare tire out, trunck carpeting and moved the front seats forard. Front tire pressure was 28 lbs and the rears 40 lbs. This run went a little better, but wasn't perfect:

R/T: .203
60 Ft: 2.100
1/8ths: 9.195
1/4: 14.259
MPH: 94.488

You can see the trap time is alittle low in this run, I hit the rev limiter in second gear!

All in all though I'm very happy . The car only has a 3.5" pulley, custom CAI and a Dynomax muffler. I'm looking forward to doing some mods now I have a baseline!!

I'm car 221;

Cheers,

Great numbers Foghorn
Your wheel spin must have been zero for those numbers? Did you heat them up before the run?

There was next to no wheel spin. Just drove around the water box than a quick stomp on the gas to clean the tires. The track was very sticky

Don't know the guy in that race, it was a Honda of some sort.

In the race below I was up against my buddy and his 98 GTP with an XP Hot cam, SLP headers and 3" exhaust with a 3.25" pulley and a DHP PCM, once again I'm number 221;

Thanks Todd! I'm waiting for Scott to get that PCM back to me, then the TOGs and high flow cat and the DUB system can go in. I have an Intense cam and pushrods that will go in later once the CNC machining is finished on the other parts

Damn sweet #'*. Especially those 60'*. And then to top it you have less mods than me and you're pulling those times. Now that I've got my KR fixed (vacuum leak) I should be down in that nieghborhood. Did a autotap this weekend and KR was almost non-existant and the car pulled like ****.

Yup, once you start doing anymore mods you're going to need slicks. Next time you do a strip down remember the lower portion of the back seat takes 3 seconds to remove and about 1/2 that much time to re-install. Good for about 10-15 lbs and they say every 10 lbs lost is equal to 1 hp gained.

Quick Reply: Went back to the track today and got new PB!
