Ported Manifold
What are the benefits of getting one'* exhaust manifold ported? Will I breathe out better? What'* the cost involved?
I'm looking to pick up a little HP without doing major surgery on my car.... which is still under warranty. How much HP would I likely gain?
Thanks!

It'* a compromise between stock and full tube headers but will gain you about 10 hp vs about 20 hp for headers. It will cost about $150 US
BTW mine is still under warranty too but even my dealer didn't care about my headers. It will help your cars efficiency. The only thing it might affect is the warranty on the trani from over torque overload failure.

How much torque will I lose? I'm guessing my current torque is 320-330 lb ft.

That $150 is that for the whole job? Will I need to pull the engine or can they be done without that happening?

I've done this, and yes you can really feel the difference. I'll try to get some pics of the stock vs. ported manifolds up. If you want, 200$ will get you some ported L67 manifolds with 1500* VHT coating. PM me for more details.

These prices are NOT installed of course.
My dealer also doesn't care about my headers, as long as the tranny dosen't go I'm golden, and if it does, Think I'll get an Intense one anyway.

It should only take you a few hours to do yourself.
You can re-use the gaskets but I would recommend getting new fasteners before you start.
