Plans for mods: Intake & fans
Well, after spending some time under the hood and checking brakes/suspension and such (and finding that inner tierod work may be needed), there was some talk of mods.
While cleaning the throttle body, we wanted to discontinue use of the MAF screen, but decided against it after reading the pros and cons of the Tech Info article.
There are the two electric fans, one for the rad, one for the a/c - apparently only one comes on when the engine is hot, and the other only operates when the a/c is on. Now, because we don't have a/c because of a bad condenser - we're not buying one new, and junkyard units are a bit hard to come by (different years and other H-body cars do NOT match, generally). So we were thinking of rigging up the a/c fan to come on with the rad fan. Sure, maybe a bit more noise, but hey, it can help with cooling, can it not?
Second, we have this generic universal cone filter. Unfortunately, if installed, it'll be butt ugly because it'* purple, but that'* besides the point. My dad has the intentions of taking a second intake "accordian tube", and fabbing up an intake (and perhaps a heatshield).
Thoughts?

your engine will probably outflow the fan at high RPMs, though it might help to get cold air around the filter when the engine is at low RPMs. Dont seal the CAI around the fan duct.

Oh no, the dual fan thing and the intake are going to be two totally seperate mods
The a/c fan is on the right side, anyway, so even if I was crazy enough to hook up a fan (that'* not a SC, hehehe) to my intake, I don't think I'd be able to do it.
What I meant by heatshield is a box/CAI, something along the lines of what Mr. willwren did, just more... ghetto-fabbed
